Trained for toughest conditions.

Engineered in Germany, Continental offers premium tyres with optimum braking performance and safety. Shorter wet braking distances.

Model Conti Viking Contact 5 continues the success of its predecessor (ContiVikingContact 3), which last 4 years, became the winner of neshipovannyh tires on the basis of many tests through highly tread pattern.

ContiVikingContact 3 and has been used in the development of asymmetric drawing new items. Continental, Conti Viking Contact 5 was designed by engineers of the group Continental, a leading supplier of tires and chassis components, especially for cars equipped with the system ESC.

The main feature of new items with asymmetric tread pattern - oblique longitudinal grooves, through which water and slush quickly and efficiently allocated from the contact spot, a self-tire water and mud. Innovation: rubber mixture.

Conti VikingContact5 Thanks to innovative rubber mixture Conti VikingContact5 demonstrated excellent braking and perfectly balanced quality of the performances in the most severe winter conditions.

Improved controllability of the dry and wet road.

Speakers elements in the side of the tread grooves make the picture more stringent, so driveability on a dry road is improving. Due to the large number of coupling edges of the tread blocks increase spot contact with the road surface and significantly reduces the braking distance.

Excellent grip on wet and icy road.

Novelty has a large number of active coupling edges of the tread blocks, which significantly optimizes the transfer of thrust. A large number of slats and particularly soft rubber mixture also helps to improve the transfer of thrust and significantly reduce stopping distance. Flat profile with additional coupling faces blocks shoulder area optimizes lateral stability in the snow and ice.
